A Message from Andrea

Opening This August in DC

I have been looking forward to this moment for a long time — and I am thrilled to finally share the news: my Washington, DC location is officially opening in August, and I would love to see you there. Many of you have been incredibly patient waiting for this moment, and I am so grateful for your continued support. It means the world to me.

A New Kind of Space

This new location is something I am truly proud of. Unlike the spa environment where many of you have seen me before, this is a dedicated acupuncture clinic — and you will feel the difference the moment you walk in. The space is bright, open, and airy, designed specifically with your healing in mind. There is natural light, room to breathe, and a calm that comes from a space built entirely around acupuncture care.

I want to set clear expectations so there are no surprises: this is not a spa, and it is not meant to feel like one. It is a clinical space — professional, clean, and therapeutic. What it offers instead is something I think you will love: a quiet, focused environment where your treatment is the entire priority.

What to Expect

I have invested in professional PT hydraulic tables that are fully padded and heated for your comfort, so you will still be warm and at ease during your sessions. There is also a dedicated area where we can sit and talk before your treatment, giving us proper time to check in on how you are doing.

I will continue offering the full range of treatments many of you know me for: acupuncture, electroacupuncture, cupping, and gua sha.

A Note on Insurance vs. Out-of-Pocket Sessions

One important thing I want to make sure you are aware of before you book:

  • Insurance patients are covered for acupuncture and electroacupuncture only. Sessions run approximately 30–45 minutes. Cupping and gua sha are not covered by insurance and would need to be added as a separate out-of-pocket service.
  • Out-of-pocket patients receive a full 60-minute session that includes acupuncture along with any combination of electroacupuncture, cupping, and gua sha as clinically appropriate.

If you have any questions about what your insurance covers or which session type is right for you, please do not hesitate to reach out — I am happy to help you figure it out before you book.

Ready to Book?

Appointments for August are opening soon. I would love to have you as one of my first patients in the new space.

Thank you again for your patience and your loyalty. I cannot wait to see you!

With gratitude,Andrea
